Brads Early June Update
Round 4 Southern Championships
May 19/20th Red Lodge Suffolk
An excellent weekend for Bradley, practice on saturday went well considering Brad hadn't ridden the track for 3 years, he soon got used to the glassy looking surface and he finished with the quickest time on both his bikes.
Come sunday and second qualifying session Brad showed he was more than happy and went 3 seconds faster than saturdays time setting pole on both bikes.
Brad had 3 wins with quickest time on both bikes winning each race by over 20 seconds and he really enjoyed the track and the drifting he was able to achieve.
Brad is really looking forward to the weekend at Lydd, and the metrakit races.
Round 3 British Championship
May 26/27th Lydd
Had a good weekend even with the mixed weather, an open track day friday was blistering and Brad was really flying on his metrakit 50 and was the second quickest bike on track fastest being a 70 but only by 0.3 of a second, in the afternoon Brad managed to get a session on a 70 and once he had got used to the extra power went 1.3 seconds faster than anybody else.
Saturday was a dry but cold day for qualifying Brad set pole on 4.2 and on the proddy just by 0.05 of a second on the metrakit he was nearly 5 seconds faster than second place. 1 race took place on saturday on his metrakit which he won.
Sunday race day started damp, dried out and then got very wet, 2 races on his metrakit which he won both, 3 races on his 4.2 1 damp and 2 very wet which he won all 3, 3 races on his proddy, 1 dry race which he won and 2 very wet races which he came second in but still ahead of his closest rival in the production championship.
All in all a great weekend which extends Bradleys lead in the metrakit championship and 4.2 class, and he is now leading the production class.
Next race meetings:- June 2nd/3rd at Stretton Leicester, Southerns, June 16th/17th Wilton Mill Northampton, Southerns, Jjune 23rd/24th, Red Lodge, British.
