B.P.P.A. Launch British Championship to be covered
Live on net T.V. Station.
The British Pitbike Promoters Association is pleased to announce the British Pitbike Championships for 2007 in association with Allan and Thomas insurance brokers.
Working closely with O.R.P.A. Chairman Tony Ford arguably the most experienced MX promoter in the country, the B.P.P.A. have put together a professional eight round race format with some amazing prizes on offer including cash, foreign holidays, new bikes, and sponsorship packages for next season, all being structured to entice racers from all ages and abilities with each round being broadcast via an internet Television Station.
In what is believed to be a UK first for pitbike events Page has tied up an exclusive deal
With Essex based Sunshine Productions producers of Braintree television who will be attending every round with a complete team of four trackside camera’s and technicians, VT mixers and presenters, who will be doing live rider interviews and commentary at each venue.
Each round will be recorded and broadcast later in the day in a downloadable format with the final round going out live via satellite from the venue as it happens.
With substantial media coverage confirmed at every venue at both national and local level insurance brokers Allan and Thomas who arrange the insurance for the events are proud to be associated with such a prestigious series.
The promoters are confident of attracting a wide range of ages and capabilities with four junior classes starting from age 6 as well as a comprehensive list of classes for the adults, including modified groups.
With the series kicking off at Southampton dates will be announced very soon but confirmed venues already include, Joyce Green, (Dartford) Hereford , Lincoln and East Essex. Classes as follows
1. 6 to 8 year olds (50’s)
2. 8 to 9 year olds (70-110)
3. 10 to 14 year olds (110-125)
4. 14 to 16 year olds (modified)
5. Adults up to 110 Standard
6. Up to125 Standard
7. Modified (125 to 200)
8. Big Wheel Modified (125 to 200)
