How to make your Bike road legal

This documentation is to help you make your bike road legal! Please note this is your responsibility!
We accept no liability of your actions in the process.

1). Ask your dealer for there VAT Number and a bill of sale with a breakdown of the vat to show it has been paid on your vehicle.

2) You need to call the DVLA on 08702400010 & you need a Registration Pack sent to you that will have all the forms you need.

3) Once you have filled them in you will need to insure your frame & engine number with an insurance company. Any insurance company should do this

4) You will need to get type approval in the way of smva test £70 unless its except under the trails bike/enduro class as some pit bikes are!

5) You will need to send the DVLA a chq for £38 for the reg fee and another for £15 road tax with all the forms you have filled in along with insurance, driving licence proof of address i.e. utility bill.

6) You need to buy a lighting kit from us if you want see the web site for prices

7) You need road legal tyre again look on the site for more details

8) You need a horn this is important

9) You also need switch gear for your lights again this can be bought through us

10) You need to have indicators if its for a MSVA Test

11) & That should be about it just wait for your number plate and tax disc to arrive then your off!
